My Approach
I am an Integrative and Relational Counsellor.
My practice draws from a range of therapeutic methods and theories to develop a way of working that suits individual needs.
My approach draws on psychodynamic, attachment-based, person-centred, existential and body psychotherapies to work with the "here and now" and consider how the past affects and influences the present. I am inspired by the link between the mind and the body. I integrate the physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of our identity and bring them into the therapy process.
I offer short-term counselling (around 8 to 12 sessions) or longer-term work with regular review. In any case, the length of therapy will be up to you, and it is something that we can discuss at any time.
I work in collaboration with you to make sense of the issue(s) which have brought you to me and with that insight, we work together towards enabling you to lead a more fulfilling life.
